Day 22: Living Life Faithfully

Updated: Jan 29

A 40-Day Faith Challenge

Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20, that faith the size of a tiny mustard seed is powerful. So, let's plant those seeds and reap the harvest.

The Seed: God's Word

Cleansing Rain: A Reflection on God's Word

Success is about us. Significance is about others. As Christians living life faithfully, we are to be the hands and feet of Christ. We are actively seeking out His will for us and obeying His call to act.

This is so counter-cultural to the world we live in today. The world tells us to do what makes us happy. God calls us to a life that makes us holy. The world tells us our purpose is to live for today and our enjoyment. God tells us to live with eternity in mind and to serve others. The world tells us our identity is in our accomplishments or the groups we associate with. God tells us our identity is in Him as God’s children.

We have faith in whose we are. We belong to God and He has chosen us. He has done this for us so we can tell others how God has called us out of darkness into His great light. (1 Peter 2:9 my version). This faith makes us servants of Christ, called to live lives pleasing to Him- lives of significance.
