Day 20: Living Life Faithfully

Updated: Jan 29

A 40-Day Faith Challenge

Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20, that faith the size of a tiny mustard seed is powerful. So, let's plant those seeds and reap the harvest.

The Seed: God's Word

Cleansing Rain: A Reflection on God's Word

It’s day 20- you’ve reached the halfway point of this challenge! Here are some guideposts to see how you’re coming along on your journey:

  • Are you building a relationship with Him through His Word & prayer?

  • Are you accepting of His unfailing love?

  • Are you forgiving others?

  • Are you confessing your sins and trusting that Jesus paid the debt for them?

  • Do you find your identity in being a believer or in more worldly titles?

  • Are your decisions being guided by God?

  • Have you found ways to serve others in love?

  • Are you sharing the Good News of Christ with others?

In other words, have you entrusted your life to God?

And since we’ve arrived at the halfway point, let’s look ahead to day 40. When this challenge is over, do you have a plan to stay connected to God and continue living a sanctified life? Hopefully, attending church is part of your Christian living! Being surrounded by a community of believers is imperative. Friends in Christ hold you accountable, guide and instruct you, pick you up when you fall, comfort you in times of need, and shine the light of Christ in your life. It’s hard to be a single flame in a dark world, instead put yourself in the midst of believers with their hearts on fire for Jesus.

Daily Sprinkle: A Prayer to Say Throughout the Day

Congratulations on making it to the halfway point! It is my prayer that you are experiencing a renewed closeness to God, that your thinking has become more aligned with God's will, that you see yourself as a chosen, loved, child of God, that you are producing good fruit for the Kingdom of God, and that you are loving this faithful life you're living!

Ain't no high like the Most High! Amen!

In Christ,
