A 40-Day Faith Challenge
Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20, that faith the size of a tiny mustard seed is powerful. So, let's plant those seeds and reap the harvest.
The Seed: God's Word
Cleansing Rain: A Reflection on God's Word
God is righteous; both perfect and holy. God is faithful to us and offers us Salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. These two facts are first and foremost for without them the next statement is impossible. Through the power of the Gospel, we come to faith and become righteous in His sight, clothed in his perfect holiness.
Our self-righteousness cannot save us. We will always fall short. Instead, we must accept the righteousness God gives us. We must trust God to save us. And faith to faith, we must continually trust in this saving grace from the moment we first believe until our faith comes to fruition in Heaven. In the between time, we live life as believers; trusting that His ways are the right ways, following His guidance down righteous paths, and seeking His will to be done. We draw nearer to him with every step of obedience. In short, we live life faithfully.
But possibly the simplest interpretation of “But the righteous man shall live by faith,” is that our faith grants us everlasting life. By faith, we live!
